Head of IA & Financial Data Engineering

DevOps engineer working with cloud infrastructure and automation tools.

Location :

On site – Nice, France
Within the research and analysis team, you will be responsible for the exploitation and interpretation of investment data. Your mission is to design performance and risk analysis models for multi asset portfolios, integrating machine learning algorithms and combining mathematical rigor with technological excellence.

Mission :

Quantitative Analysis and Modeling  
  • Design and implement advanced performance measurement models
  • Develop sophisticated risk indicators (VaR, Stress tests, Volatility, correlation analysis, etc.)
  • Ensure cross portfolio analysis including complex instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Private Equity, UCITS, Alternatives)
Data Engineering and AI  
  • Extract, clean, and structure financial data flows using SQL and Python
  • Automate data pipelines to ensure reliability and real time updates of analyses
  • Optimize existing algorithms to improve platform scalability
Business Expertise and Client Relations  
  • Produce tailor made investment reports for a demanding institutional client base
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau)
  • Interact with product teams to integrate new analytical features based on your research

Profile :

Your key skills and experience:  
  • Experience & Education: Graduate of an Engineering program (or a specialized Master’s in Quantitative Finance/Data), you have at least 5 years of experience in the finance sector.
  • Business Expertise: With at least 5 years of successful experience in finance (banking, insurance, etc.), you have a thorough understanding of financial instruments and concepts across all asset classes, know how to translate them into mathematical models, and are familiar with certain regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are an expert in Python and SQL. Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Languages: Given our international environment (6 nationalities), you are able to present your analyses in both English and French.

  • Absolute Rigor: In finance, the details make the difference. You have a methodical approach and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to Synthesize: You know how to extract what matters most from large volumes of data and turn it into something actionable.
  • Curiosity: You stay continuously up to date on new analytical methods and developments in the Fintech sector.
